This board was started in 1929 by a resolution of the government. In India, more than 27,000 schools and 240 schools in 28 foreign countries are affiliated with the CBSE. All schools affiliated to CBSE heed the NCERT pattern of education especially from class 9 to 12. 

Every year in March, CBSE conducts the final examination for class 10 and class 12, and the results are notified by the end of May. Recently, the CBSE board added the AIEEE examination to get admission to undergraduate courses in engineering and architecture in colleges across India. Along with this CBSE also conducts AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical Test) to get admission to prime medical colleges in India.

2. International Baccalaureate (IB) Board-

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Board delivers high-quality education to students. 3. Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE)-

The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education, also known as ICSE Board, is an examination managed by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), a private board of school education for class 10 in India. This board is focused on a student’s overall growth, delivering a balanced curriculum to all its learners. The ICSE syllabus is standardized and comprehensive and aims to boost analytical skills and practical knowledge for its students. 6. Cambridge Board
